Chocolate and Steel has been in the works for 16 years. I cannot even believe it as I type it. 16 years ago I I went on maternity leave and decided to turn my hobby into a paying hobby. E-commerce was not a word in most people's vocabulary. I built a very unpolished website to showcase my designs. I fashioned a paypal button that said "buy now". I was over joyed as my jewelry started selling. I knew every name that came through on the orders - they were my friends and family. But I wanted to move beyond my inner circle. I wanted customers! I joined Etsy in 2006, 1 year after they launched. I was a hit instantly!  My business has evolved leaps and bounds since those days. It is no longer a "paying hobby". It is my passion, my career, my joy, my purpose! New mom Christine had no idea what was in store for her. Honestly back then I could not imagine what joy this career would bring me.

Thank you for being part of my story! This Wholesale Shop has been a dream of mine for a few years. The pandemic threw us some curve balls, but we keep swinging. And while it took longer to bring to fruition than originally expected, it is so much better than I imagined.
